Latest news June 2, 2006 Friday Evening shift! 20.30 TC meeting is in full swing! All gliders/competitors are counted for and we all look back on a good day!!!One of the more spectecular landings was from the ETA ,who really was hidden behind the trees in front of the landing place ,but easily "swung " over and made a good landing, wings nearly "kissing" each other over the canopy. What a "huge" machine.{picture;before start}
As you can see on the results page, not all pilots have flown the task. Some however have problems with the first FR and the results from the 2d logger are not yet there.Compliments to the pilots who did fly the task, as the wind was pretty tough ! Job well done and good practise!
Dinner was very good and 12 in one tent is no problem for the Dutch Team.Thanks guy's!
One pilot had a launch after 20.00 as he needed to check his instruments. Nice "Night-flight" , but ....there is not really a dark night here, though we will have sunset written on the task sheet.
Tomorrow ; OPENING OF THE 29th FAI MULTI CLASS
WORLD COMPS 2006 at 2 O'CLOCK, most probably SHARP ,knowing Robert.
NO BRIEFING TOMORROW! Ritz>
