17.20 All pilots come in now to down load their flight recorders. FINALLY A REAL GOOD DAY! is what I hear from many pilots.

17.30 Look at the speed from good old Doug Jacobs from the USA, who flew with 120 km/h. in st. class. And...119.2km/h in 18 m. class for Mogens Hoelgaard from Denmark! Top Speed!
17.40 Open class gliders have arrived and are arriving now. I spotted N1, C2,1E, HM, XX, X, PF and FE , GY.

17.55 In 18 m. class ,nearly all gliders are in and we might be premature but I think we can congratulate Phil Jones with his new world title. Runner up Wolfgang Janowitsch and third Luciano Avanzini. Congratulations to all 3!
18.00 In open class it looks pretty clear that Michael Sommer has won.Won't say I told you, but yes he was good. Just gave him a big hug!! But so was the ETA with Giorgo Ballarati as runner up and super 3d place for European Champ Pete Harvey. Congratulations guy's!!
18.30 Congratulations to young Leigh Wells. Just congrtulated daddy already, who is tired and..PROUD, so he can be! Nearly a 1-2 for the UK but nothing wrong with the good flying from Olivier from France in 2d place. Jez Hood is 3d. Congratulations to all 3.
18.40 Dare not to say what's going to happen in 15 m. class. Still a few pilots have to bring their loggers in and the difference between Gyorgy and Janusz is only 16 points now.This is really something!!! Gyorgi is waiting here while Gilles is down loading and the 2 Italians still have to come in. Tension rises in this class.
18.50 While the music is playing in the party tent, Gyorgi is still waiting, so are we!!! It is getting me !!! It looks like we have to congratulate Janusz with his Diane with his ???World title. Feel a bit sorry for Giorgy who was waiting here and just saw the result. But...congratulations to Janusz. 13 points short, Gyorgi will think now about what climb, he should not have done,to be faster ! But BOTH are TOP PILOTS! Good third place for Swedish pilot Borje Eriksson. Congratulations to the 3 VERY GOOD pilots!!!
19.00 The party starts the gliding party is over. A pity. We were just in the mood to go on for weeks! But to everyting comes an end, also to the 29th WORLD COMPS IN SWEDEN. Will be back later I hope, with the Evening Shift! Ritz
