An awesome gliding day ??MMmmmm....

17.30 It looks from the ground as an awesome gliding day, but....at this stage we have 3 out landings. EI, 620, AX, SI. All clouds have disappeared now, we have blue skies, high cirrus and a temperature of 29.6 on the Austrian thermometer, which hangs, as you know by now , in the afternoon in the sun.
Well I had expected the first pilots to be back home already, having counted 4 hours for the first starters from St. class, but we are still waiting.
Go and sit outside now to give you straightaway the first finishers!
17.45 First pilot is back on the field: An early starter glider VG from Argentinia in 18 m. class. German glider LT arrived before but without finishing.
Dutch Pilot Steven Raimond [1R] just made it back home as first pilot in the the 15 m. class. More gliders SS ,D2, and MO called 2 k out.
18.15 Lot's of finishers in different classes: YX, ET, 80, 352, YF, V8, E2, BB, C, XT, VS, Y, AZ, VW, TA, MM, 8 X.
Glider AX came from the wrong site in, so I do not know if he has finished. Will find out later , as I heard that cirrus has spoiled the day for some 18 m. pilots.
18.30 More direct finishes then speed! Who came in; I missed a few ...but here are the next I could spot;
NV, SY, LS, DI, 99, M. Y4, SP, AG.

18.40More finishes! T1, AJ, CC, VC, 133, EC, EU, .The wind is 250 and 10 to 15 knots.
18.45 First open class gliders have arrived too. Holger Karow [X] was the first to come back. TC is 2 k out and VP , I think made a direct landing. The direct landings are bit far to see with the "bear eyes".XX is back too.
Lots of pilots have arrived in the office now to download their flight recorders!! Look for exact results there.Thanks!
