Latest news June 6, 2006 Evening Shift ! 19.30 After the day was cancelled, pilots and crews disappeared to their houses in town or caravans/tents in the camping area. Most of them here, were using their laptops, either to read stories or to play games. It is really working fine now!!!

" Competing in gliders" with sub title "Winning with your mind" written by top pilots Leo[nardo] and Ricardo "Ricky" Brigliadori will be presented. Surely a good evening!
The "meet and greet" is going fine , as you can read! The Argentinians are really doing a good job there, so is their pilot Damian. But more countries send their messages to their friends /loved ones here. I was touched by the message from John Coutts' little son Connor.
The very prestigious prize from OSTIV, presented only at every Conference [ every 2 years like the World Comps], has been awarded to the Swiss FLARM team this afternoon.They devellopped in 2 years time, an excellent contribution to gliding.
Compliments and congratulations to Andrea Schlapbach and his team of 4. In 2 years time, I just heard from the Dutch representative for OSTIV , Eric de Boer, they sold 5000 units and this is absolutely unique.
Not much more to say then that just after the cancellation , as you could expect the weather improved and I got a nice sun tan, from having a drink with my friends.
Now we are all off to the Swedish Night ,enjoying Hamburgers and Hotdogs with reduced beer prices.
Last but not least. On the picture you see the new weather" woman' from today and her husband, who is a meteo man. One of their little daughters is not yet so far that she can predict the weather, but we like her on the picture, which is courtesy to Pierre Wolf, who has hundreds of pictures already on the Photo album site!
